Radio 100,7 is launching a brand-new youth program - created by young people, for young people. We haven’t even named it yet - because we want you to shape it from the very beginning! Whether you’re passionate about music, culture, politics, gaming, mental health, sports, or something totally unexpected, this is your space to explore it. Through podcasts, video content, social media, or formats we haven’t even thought of yet, YOU decide what’s important.
Why are we doing this?
In a world where anyone can post and create content, quality media matters more than ever. We believe in the power of fact-checked, responsible, and impactful storytelling. At 100,7, we offer the experience, standards, and values of public service media-ensuring that your content isn’t just engaging but also meaningful and trustworthy.
We also believe in giving a platform to voices that need to be heard. Media isn’t just something to consume - it’s something to create. And who better to create content for young people than young people themselves? We want to empower you to take the lead, share your experiences, and shape the Luxembourgish media landscape.
Who are we looking for?
If you’re young (15-25, but we’re flexible), curious, and eager to be part of something relevant, we want you! Whether you have an idea for a podcast, a vidcast, a social media series, or just know you want to be involved, this is your chance.
You can apply as an individual creator or as part of a group. Even if you already have a podcast or content project, we’d love to see what you’re doing! No polished skills needed, enthusiasm and creativity are what matter most.
While the core of the program will be in Luxembourgish, we welcome applications and content ideas in any language spoken in Luxembourg. Whether you want to create in Luxembourgish, German, French, English, or a mix - that’s totally up to you. We’re here for diversity in both language and perspective.
How to apply
It’s simple! Grab your phone, record a short Video in the language of your choice and tell us:
- Why you want to participate
- What your idea or area of interest is
- What role you see yourself playing
Send us your video by May 11th, 2025, and we’ll take it from there. If selected, you’ll be invited to collaborate, brainstorm, and workshop ideas with us and the other applicants.
Freelance & paid opportunity
This is not just an opportunity to create - it’s also a paid freelance collaboration! Participants will be compensated for their contributions, making this a great way to kickstart a career in media while doing something you love.
Important forms
All selected participants will be required to sign a participation form. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the form on your behalf.
